MBSR Online Classes Overview
I was among the first in the world to offer mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR) classes online. I pioneered this program to make MBSR available for the many people in the world who don’t have access to “brick and mortar” classes in their vicinity and have had the privilege of serving many hundreds of participants to date. If you wish to become an MBSR instructor taking a MBSR pram here is a good place to start.
These programs are conducted in the same format as the MBSR classes I provide at Enloe Medical Center in Chico, California and as it is provided in hundreds of other medical centers around the world. We use state-of-the-art encrypted video conferencing software for these classes that are provided in real time and also approved for medical and mental health continuing education hours. I have provided these online programs for a great many individuals and as the principle intervention in major research studies using mindfulness-based stress reduction with cancer patients. Persons have participated in these live, interactive classes from every corner of the world and have reported a high degree of satisfaction in the quality of education they received here.
To participate in this program you will need a high-speed network connection, headset and webcam. In addition, you will need to consider the time zone you will be joining me from and consider the time of day you will need to set aside for your 8-week series.
